Bug gardens and dense mountainous vegetation surround the peaceful area with 8 modern and fully equipped Japanese Villas, 4 Oak Studios and 1 Chestnut House.

Meet the Houses

Japanese Cedar Villa

The 8 Japanese Cedar Villas are inspired by local rustic granaries, which were purposely raised above the humid ground. The rectangular-shaped villas are set on a series of low concrete pillars above a cooling, reflective pond.

Oak Studio

Facing an oak forest that Manuel and Helena planted more than 20 years ago, our 4 Studios are covered with Cryptomeria Trees. A camouflage that will increase your quietness.

Chestnut House

This traditional house was once the barn where Manuel's dairy cows were milked. Then it became our family's holiday house and now it has been transformed into the cosy and spacious Chestnut House, the biggest guest house of the entire property.

Furnas Lake Restaurant

Dinner service at the Restaurant operates on a reservation system, with 3 seatings (at 7 PM, 8PM or 9 PM - last seating). We are open every day except Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Please choose in advance: "Passeio pela Quinta" (4 Moments) or "À Volta da Nossa Ilha" (6 Moments).

Important Information:

- Choose one Menu for the table;
- Inform us if there are any restrictions or allergies;
- Reservations of 6 or more people, please contact us;
- There are 15-minute of tolerance;
- Dress code: Casual Chic.

If you need more information or wish to make a reservation, we are at your disposal.

We also have Snacks from 3p.m. until 5p.m. , when the Resturant is open.

We will be closed during low season (from October 19th). Thank you for understanding!
